MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 14 June, 2008
Our next meeting will be held on Saturday June 14 in room Northside 3 of Calvary Church. The location is at 1010 North Tustin Ave, Santa Ana. The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 PM.
Park in the north parking lot along Wellington Street. Our room is located at the East End of the Church compound.
The program is a DVD entitled “The Privileged Planet”. You will recall that this DVD or the related book supposedly lead to Iowa State University refusing to tenure Guillermo Gonzalez. Guillermo was featured in Ben Stein’s movie, “EXpelled, No Intelligence Allowed. If you have not seen it, it may still be running. Go see it.
This DVD lasts 60 minutes. It has beautiful images with very significant meaning. It definitely supports the concept of Intelligent Design and Purpose for our whole universe. One of these images will interest those who have considered the Earth Centered Concept for our solar system. The images shown can not be understood in any way other than as a solar centered system.
The book with the same title was written by Jay Richards and Guillermo Gonzalez. It lists at least 20 factors about the universe that shows purpose. It concludes that the universe is a product of a mind and it was designed for a purpose.
